Hi, I'm Hiba :)

I’m a creative at heart and love staying inspired in everyday ways whether that’s decorating my home, learning more about interior design, making fancy matchas (iykyk), creating fun floral arrangements, or romanticizing my life with my Fujifilm X100V (my first camera :’)). Keeping creativity present in my daily life shapes the way I see the world and, ultimately, the way I photograph it. Growing up around photography sparked my love for storytelling through images. With a camera always nearby, I learned early on how powerful the small, honest moments can be. The quiet glances, the laughter in between, and the memories we don’t realize we’re making until they’re gone.

Traveling later deepened that love in ways I never expected. Before my wedding, I hadn’t experienced much travel, but afterward my husband and I discovered a shared love for exploring new places together. Through those experiences, I began seeing the world differently, slowing down and noticing light, connection, and emotion. Photography became a way for me to preserve those feelings and tell stories through what I saw.

As I shared my work with family and close friends, their encouragement gave me the confidence to take a leap of faith. Around the same time, I graduated with my master’s degree and began a new career while also choosing to pursue photography alongside it. I feel incredibly grateful to follow both paths and do work that feels meaningful to me in different ways.

Giving back through photography is deeply important to me. In 2023, I started Prints for Change, an initiative created to give back through my work by raising money to support children in Palestine. My hope is to continue growing this idea into something bigger, a platform where photography can help create real and lasting impact.

My work is documentary led and film inspired, rooted in intention and storytelling. This approach allows me to slow down and photograph with purpose, being present, thoughtful, and deeply connected to each moment as it unfolds. I focus on natural moments and timeless details, creating images that feel honest, emotional, and enduring. At the heart of it all, I’m grateful for the connections formed along the way and for every person who trusts me to document their memories.
